Dear Parishioners:

The Year 2003 seems to have started with giant steps, the Christmas season is over and we begin the Week for Christian Unity this Sunday, January 19^th . We cannot pray enough with the words of the Apostle there will be "one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all" (Eph.4,5). This oneness of God makes it logical that his Church too should be one. Let us continue our efforts to pray and work for this Unity. Be there when we pray together tonight at 7:00 pm. A great promoter of Christian Unity was certainly St. Vincent Pallotti whose Solemnity we celebrate this week on Wednesday (22.01) with a special concelebrated mass of all the Pallottine Fathers in Calgary at 7:00 pm The external celebration we hold next Sunday.

The Bishop asked us to say a few words of invitation to the Bishops Cup hockey game on Family Day in February. It promises to be a fun game. Details are in your bulletin and tickets have already been sold and are still available from the youth of our parish. We have had some vandalism again lately to our outside Nativity and our parish sign at the street, please keep an eye on the church and report any vandalism to us.
