Prayer for Vocations
God, in Baptism you called me by name and made me a member of your people, the Church. I praise you for your goodness, I thank you for your gifts!
God, bless your Church with love. Raise up dedicated and generous leaders from our families and from our friends who will serve as sisters, priests, brother and deacons.
Send your Spirit to guide and strengthen me that I may serve your people following the example of your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name I offer this prayer. Amen.
Prayer to the Holy Spirit Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and all things shall be created. And You will renew the face of the earth. Lord, by the light of the Holy Spirit You have taught the hearts of your faithful. In the same Spirit help us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your consolation. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
